This application has been filed to extend the Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the arbitration proceedings is at the stage of examination of witnesses and hence, he seeks for extension of Mandate of the learned Arbitrator for a further period of 6 months.

3. Further, he would submit that he had served notice to the respondents in person and in this regard, he had also made an endorsement in the Judges' Summons. However, in spite of the service of notice, there is no representation on behalf of the respondents.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application, this Court is inclined to extend the Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 6 months.

5. Accordingly, this application is allowed and the Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by the Arbitral Tribunal.
