ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4(1) (i), 4(1) (A) of TNP Act, in Crime No.423 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner was found in illegal possession of Brand Diamond xxxRum-6, Express special Brandy 14 total 20 bottles. Hence the case.
3.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this 2/5
case. He further submitted that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and on instructions submitted that the petitioner had found illegal possession of Brand Diamond xxxRum-6, Express special Brandy 14 total 20 bottles.
5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

Express special Brandy 14 total 20 bottles, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
