This application has been filed by the 2nd defendant seeking to condone the delay of 540 days in filing the written statement. 2.In the affidavit filed it had been stated that, since the written statement could not be filed without obtaining confirmation from the company headquarters at United States of America, there was a delay in filing the written statement. It had been further stated that the delay in filing the written statement is neither willful nor deliberate. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the plaintiff and he has not raised any objections.
4.Taking into consideration the reasons advanced, this Application stands allowed. The delay is condoned. The written statement of the 2nd defendant is taken on file.
