Respondent/Complainant Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the Special Court for PCR cases Perambalur (Principal District cum Session Judge) under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities amendment Act, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consequently, consider their Bail application on merits on the same day in Crime No.77 of 2020 dated 02.03.2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been laid by the petitioners seeking direction to the Special Court for PCR cases Perambalur (Principal District cum Session Judge) under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities amendment Act, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consequently, consider their Bail application on merits on the same day in Crime No.77 of 2020 dated 02.03.2020 on the file of the respondent police.
2. According to the petitioners, they were arrayed as accused in crime No.77 of 2020, for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i), 120(b), 420 IPC and 3(i)(r) and 3 (1)(s) of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015. According to the petitioners, they have not committed the offences put forth against them and on account of the false case alleged against them, the petitioners are necessitated to seek for necessary directions. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, I deem it fit to issue the following directions.
(i) The petitioners shall surrender before the Special Court for PCR cases Perambalur (Principal District cum Session Judge) under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities amendment Act, within 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. (ii) On the petitioners surrendering before the Special Court for PCR cases Perambalur (Principal District cum Session Judge) under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities amendment Act and filing the bail application, the Special Court for PCR cases Perambalur (Principal District cum Session Judge) under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities amendment Act, is directed to consider and dispose of the bail application as expeditiously as possible, preferably on the date of surrender in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
