[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to produce the petitioner's daughter namely, Swetha, aged about 18 years, D/o.Murugan, before this Court from the illegal custody of the third respondent herein and to set her at liberty, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Swetha, aged 18 years has been illegally taken away by the third respondent and that the police have not taken any action for securing her.

3. Today, Mr.K.Madhavan, SI, E-3 Teynampet Police Station, Chennai produced the petitioner's daughter Swetha, who stated that her Date of Birth is 04.11.2002 and that she is studying first year degree in a College. She also stated that she had fall in love with the third respondent.

4. Since the alleged detenue is a major, and that she has gone on her own volition with the third respondent, it cannot be stated that she is in the illegal detention of anyone.

5. Recording the same, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
