O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to recover the CCTV footages that are available in and around the place of occurrence and to use the same in the course of investigation and complete the investigation within the time frame.

2.Heard Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to take note of the CCTV footages that are available in the scene of occurrence, in the course of investigation. The investigation shall be conducted effectively and a final report or closure report as the case may be shall be filed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
