India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to cancel the New TSLR issued in TSLR Nos.14/1 to 14/12 and to issue fresh TSLRs jointly as mentioned in the names of the Joint Pattadhars Vide Joint Patta No.613 in respect of the property to an extent of 20 cents comprised in S.No.58/1A situated at Chinnamanali Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2024 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. O R D E R

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to cancel the New TSLR issued in TSLR Nos.14/1 to 14/12 and to issue fresh TSLRs jointly as mentioned in the Joint Patta No.613 in respect of the property to an extent of 20 cents comprised in S.No.58/1A situated at Chinnamanali Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District, by considering the petitioners' representation dated 29.05.2024.

2.According to the petitioners, the old patta in respect of the above mentioned land originally stood in the name of six persons including the 2/6

petitioners' father Kaliyappan in Patta No.613. Later, on upgradation of Edappadi Village as a Municipality, TSLR was prepared by the respondents and while issuing new TSLR, names of some other third parties not connected with the above mentioned property, are also included. Further, the petitioners were allotted property with a small extent in the new TSLR Register and aggrieved by the same, the petitioners submitted a representation to the respondents on 29.05.2024, seeking correction of the TSLR, by taking into consideration the old Patta issued in the name of six persons. The said representation has not been considered till date and therefore, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioners would be considered on its own merits within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 29.05.2024 and pass 3/6

final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the persons interested.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
