This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that she has been unnecessarily called to the police station under the pretext of enquiry on the complaint of civil nature lodged by one Shanthi. 4.When there is no case is pending, the presence of the petitioner is absolutely not required for any investigation and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner cannot be called to the police station. However, if the respondent, wants to enquire, they can follow the due process of law by issuing necessary notice to the petitioner for her appearance.

With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
