.. Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners on the basis of complaint given by the Keerthana and her parents.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Keerthana, petition enquiry is pending in CSR. No. 221 of 2016. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioners shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, they shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accuseds. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
