Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's sub division patta transfer application made online vide Application No.2020/0105/07298435 dated 02.11.2020 and consequently, to issue separate patta in Survey No.419/1B, 419/1C, 419/1D, 419/2A, 419/2B and 418/2C4 totally measuring an extent of acre 2.50 cents situated in Melvayalamur village, Melmalayanur Taluk, Villupuram District in favour of the petitioner.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue sub-division patta in the name of the petitioner, with respect to the subject property.

2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that based on the application submitted by the petitioner, an enquiry has been conducted and orders will be passed within the time fixed by this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner on 02.11.2020, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
