PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the 1st Respondent, Director of Fire & Rescue Services in his proceedings Rc.No.1172/A3/2020 dated 28.10.2020 on the file of the 2nd Respondent, Joint Director of Fire & Rescue Services in K:/K/vz;/3080/M1/2019 dated 08.12.2020 and on the file of 3rd Respondent, District Officer, Chennai Suburban District, Fire Service Department in his proceedings No. e/f/vz;/16686/M1/2019 dated 03.07.2020 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents No.1,2 and 3 to reinstate the petitioner back in service with all attendant benefits.

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records on the file of the 1st Respondent, Director of Fire & Rescue Services in his proceedings Rc.No.1172/A3/2020 dated 28.10.2020 on the file of the 2nd Respondent, Joint Director of Fire & Rescue Services in K:/K/vz;/3080/M1/2019 dated 08.12.2020 and on the file of 3rd Respondent, District Officer, Chennai Suburban District, Fire Service Department in his proceedings No. e/f/vz;/16686/M1/2019 dated 03.07.2020 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents No.1,2 and 3 to reinstate the petitioner back in service with all attendant benefits.

2.When this Writ Petition was listed for hearing on 18.10.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and again it was listed on 22.10.2024, even then there was no representation. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today ie on 23.10.2024 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, there is no purpose in keeping the Writ Petition pending without any progress.
