Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing counsel for the first respondent and learned Special Government Pleader for the second respondent.
2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on her representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
dated 18.4.2018, to run a bunk shop at Block No.12, Door No.25, Vattampakkam Road, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Kancheepuram District.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she is a destitute widow and her husband passed away on 17.6.2012. Thereafter, she is running a small bunk shop in front of her house to meet both the ends. Hence, she submitted an application to the respondents seeking for licence to run a bunk shop in the said place. Since the said representation is not yet considered, the present writ petition.
4. Mr.S.Prabu, learned Standing counsel for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent / Slum Clearance Board allotted separate space for establishment of bunk shops. The petitioner had participated in the auction conducted to lease out the shops, but, she was unsuccessful. Thereafter, she encroached the pathway and put up a bunk shop, which causes hindrance to the tenements. Hence, the petitioner is not entitled for any indulgence of this Court.
5. In the light of the above submissions, I do not find any merits in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
