Prayer :- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records in pursuant to the impugned order in OF/TR No.2178/2017-2018 dated 24.02.2018 passed by the first and second respondents and also relieving order dated 26.02.2018 issued by the fourth respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue to work at Salem Fort Branch, Salem Zone.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of transfer passed by the respondent Bank transferring the petitioner from the Zonal Office, Salem to Zonal Office, Barddhaman.
2. The learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the petitioner is attaining the age of superannuation on 29.02.2020. In view of the same, no useful purpose will be served in going into the merits of the present case, since the petitioner is left with service only for a couple of days. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case and take a decision on the transfer order passed by the respondent Bank.
3. This Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent Bank and seek for his terminal benefits and the respondent Bank shall act upon the same, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
