ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to release two sale deeds that are kept as pending document Nos.201300302 & 201300304.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the sale deeds were presented for registration in the year 2013 and it is kept as a pending document for the last 7 years and the petitioners inspite of paying the entire sale consideration, are deprived of a registered document in their favour. The further case of the petitioners is that a representation was also made to the respondents on 19.08.2020 and the same was also not acted upon and therefore, left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the documents have been kept as pending documents for the last seven years, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to immediately register the documents, if it is otherwise in order and sufficient stamp duty and registration fees has been paid. If there is any objection in registration of the documents, the same shall be immediately intimated to the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the 3rd respondent registers the document, the same shall be immediately released to the petitioners.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs. 11.12.2020 Index :Yes/No Internet:Yes/No sai/pgp 3/4
