(Order of the Court delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM) Mr.K.Karthikeyan, the learned Government Advocate (HR & CE) appearing on behalf of Respondents 1 to 3 would submit that actions have already been initiated under Section 78 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act, 1959 for eviction of Page No.2 of 4
encroachers in the temple properties and the proceedings for removal of encroachment will be concluded as expeditiously as possible by the authorities.
2. In view of the fact that actions have already been initiated, which is not disputed by the learned counsel for petitioner, the Authorities are bound to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
3. With the above observation, this contempt petition stands closed.
