ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 4th respondent to act on the representation dated 01.11.2023 and mutate the revenue records and also issue a joint patta in the name of the legal heirs for the lands comprised in Ward B, Block 8, Old T.S.No.825/1, New T.S.No.22, Bhavani Circle, Erode District.

2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 01.11.2023 with a request for issuance of joint patta, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case and directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
