PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1631 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Elavanasurkottai Police Station, Kallakurichi within a stipulated time.

ORDER
(This case has been heard through Video Conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to file the final report in Crime No.1631/2020 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that the petitioner/defacto complainant filed this petition seeking that though F.I.R. in Crime No.1631 of 2020 came to be registered, no action taken.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents would submit that offence involved in this case is 423, 467, 468 and 471 I.P.C. and involving forgery and using of forged document. Now, the document is sent to forensic department and the report is awaited. On receipt of report, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
further investigation would be conducted and final report would be filed. In view of the same, he seeks six months time.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.
5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
