ORDER
(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner sent representation on 14.09.2021 seeking police protection and further, to survey the land of the petitioner and earmark its boundaries. She already approached the Tahsildar, Tittakudi Taluk, and on verification of patta and other revenue records, the Tahsildar permitted the petitioner to remit survey fees and despite survey fees, the survey of land could not be conducted due to the obstruction and threatening by her neighbours. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 14.09.2020, but no action taken.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents Police would submit that no representation received from the revenue authorities and surveyor that they were obstructed in surveying the land. If such representation is received, the police protection would be granted.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.
4. On considering submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court finds that the petitioner produced patta, adangal and challan in proof for remitting survey fees. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent police is directed to give protection to the Surveyor, Revenue Officials, and to the petitioner to survey the land and earmark the same. Any obstruction force is used by anyone, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
