O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition imposed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vacation Sessions Judge (FAC), Salem, in Crl.M.P.No.1363 of 2023, dated 26.05.2023, directing the petitioner to execute a bond for Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that while granting bail to the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1363 of 2023 dated 26.05.2023, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vacation Sessions Judge (FAC), Salem, imposed a condition on the petitioner to execute a bond for Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not able to get sureties who are willing to act as sureties and execute bond for Rs.25,000/-. Therefore, he prays that the bond amount may be reduced to Rs.10,000/-.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court modifies the said condition imposed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vacation Sessions Judge (FAC), Salem, in Crl.M.P.No.1363 of 2023, dated 26.05.2023, to the effect that "the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Salem".
