Respondent Petition filed under Section 11 (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint any suitable person as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to act as an arbitrator, as per Sec.11(5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the reference of the dispute arisen between the petitioner and the respondent out of the service agreement dated 23.5.2011 entered into between the petitioner and the respondent.

O R D E R
The learned counsel for parties state that in view of the existence of the arbitration clause and the proposal sent vide letter dated 19.12.2015 suggesting Mr.K.V.Ananthakrushnan, Advocate as the Sole Arbitrator, which is acceptable to the opposite party, the said Arbitrator may be so appointed and the arbitration proceedings be governed by the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre.
2. I, thus, appoint Mr.K.V.Ananthakrushnan, Advocate, having office at No.149, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-17, as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon the reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As requested, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre.
3. The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
