ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.05.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 126(2), 115(2), 125, 324(2), 311, 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.111 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused had refused to pay the bill in the de facto complainant's shop and when the de facto complainant insisted them to pay the bill, the accused abused him and by threatening him at knife point, robbed a sum of Rs.2200/-. Hence the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case since he has several previous cases. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner is a habitual offender having 15 previous cases.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, taking note of the nature of allegation and the previous antecedents of the petitioner and also considering that the custodial interrogation of the Page No.2 of 4

petitioner is very much required, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
