Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2024 requesting to remove the 7th respondent from the post of President, by invoking Section 205(11) of The Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 within the time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2024 requesting to remove the 7th respondent from the post of President, by invoking Section 205(11) of The Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 within the time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as

well as the 7th respondent, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
