ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.10.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in her favour with respect to the subject property.
2.Mr.E.Bala Murugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the file pertaining to the petitioner is now dealt with by the Settlement Tahsildar of Alandur Taluk Office and the said authority has called the petitioner for enquiry on 21.12.2020 at 03.30 P.M. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present before the Settlement Tahsildar, Alandur Taluk Office alongwith all the relevant documents.
3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the petitioner has already been called for an enquiry by the Settlement Tahsildar, Alandur, there shall be a direction the Settlement Tahsildar, Alandur to conduct the enquiry and pass final orders strictly in 2/4
accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
