The petitioner herein is before this Court seeking protection from the respondent police for being harassed on the complaint given by one Muthusamy who is none other than the father of the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the complaint of harassment and torture by wife and daughter was received from one Muthusamy, an ex-service man. After enquiry, the parties have arrived at amicable settlement. Hence, the said complaint was closed on 07.07.2024 by the respondent police.

3. The averment of the petitioner that she had been harassed by the police is untrue.

4. Considering the fact that no complaint or petition pending against the petitioner as on date, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
