Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2020 consequently direct them to conduct the survey by metes and bounds relating to properties at Vilankurichi Village, Coimbatore District North, comprised in Old Survey No.3/1A, New Survey No.3/1A1, measuring total extent of 1 acre 95 cents. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioners'

representation dated 27.10.2020 and consequently directing them to conduct the survey by metes and bounds relating to the properties at Vilankurichi Village, Coimbatore District North, comprised in Old Survey No.3/1A, New Survey No.3/1A1, measuring total extent of 1 acre 95 cents.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. E. Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent had already issued a notice to the petitioners calling upon them to appear for enquiry on 30.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. for surveying their land.

Since the respondent had already issued a notice to the petitioner calling upon them to appear for enquiry on 30.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. for surveying the land, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting enquiry, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
