This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 23.04.2018.

2. On a perusal of the averments in the petition, it appears that the petitioner, being a Director of Jam Jam Chit Fund Pvt Ltd.,, during his tenure has received several deposits from the public. Thereafter there was a default. It is contended by the petitioner that though he has resigned from the said post, the depositors are demanding the amount from him.

3. The very avement itself clearly shows that there is a default and it is natural for the depositors to demand amount from the concerned person. Therefore, this Court cannot give any blanket direction to the respondent to give police protection.

Hence, this petition is dismissed.
