Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 20.04.2016 within a stipulated time as this Hon'ble Court fixes.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be owner of the land admeasuring 1.23 1⁄2 acres in Ramanaickenpalayam Village and Post, Attur Taluk, Salem District along with Well, Motor Pump sets through a registered sale deed bearing document no.3777 of 2012 and claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the same. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that she has approached the third respondent very many times for transfer of patta and it has not been considered and in this regard, has also submitted a written representation on 20.04.2016 to the respondents and though the representation was received and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

acknowledged by the respondents, she has not been favoured with any kind of response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mrs.R.Hemalatha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
