When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that at this stage, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous inasmuch as the petitioner is over-aged for being appointed to the post of Sub-Staff and there is nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication.
