Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent demarcate and fix the boundaries of the land measuring an extent of 21400 sq.ft (49 cents) gifted in favour of the petitioner Village Panchayat pursuant to the registered Gift Deed dated 27.11.2000 relating to S.F.Nos.332, 333, 456, 457/2, 457/4 and 457/5 of Keelminnal Village, Wallajah Taluk, Ranipet District and consequently grant patta.

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.332, 333, 456, 457/2, 457/4 and 457/5 measuring an extent of 21400 sq.ft (49 cents), situated at Keelminnal Village, Wallajah Taluk, Ranipet District, by considering the petitioner's online E-Challan No.20240612009457, dated 12.06.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has paid the requisite fees to survey the property and demarcate its boundaries in Survey Nos.332, 333, 456, 457/2, 457/4 and 457/5 situated at Keelminnal Village, Wallajah 2/4

Taluk, Ranipet District. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, he seeks a direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's online E-Challan No.20240612009457, dated 12.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
