maintenance payable to the petitioners to an amount to Rs.10,000/-p.m. for each petitioner and also direct the 2nd respondent to recover the arrears of maintenance payable to the petitioners and return the sum of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs only) from the 3rd and 4th respondents. ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side fairly submitted that, by order dated 08.07.2025, this Court had referred the matter to the Mediation Centre at Erode. Pursuant thereto, a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and the respondents 3 and 4, namely, the son and grand-daughter of the petitioners. It was further submitted that a Settlement Agreement dated 04.08.2025 has been duly executed by the parties and also signed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the private respondents. In view of the same, it is prayed that this Court may record the Settlement Agreement dated 04.08.2025 and dispose of the writ petition accordingly.
2. This Court perused the Settlement Agreement and the mediation report, both dated 04.08.2025.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, and in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 04.08.2025, this writ petition stands disposed of. The Settlement Agreement and the Mediation Report, both dated 04.08.2025, shall form part and parcel of this order. No costs.
