This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 26.05.2018 and to investigate into the matter in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. It is the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired and closed by the respondent police as civil in nature.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
