ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to revise the petitioner's wages with effect from 01.09.2016, based on the 13th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018, and pay him the difference in gratuity and leave liability along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of actual disbursement within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that, he was working in the respondent Transport Corporation as Senior Tradesman and retired from service on 31.10.2016. The petitioner made a representation to the respondents dated 24.03.2025, seeking revision of wages and consequential retirement benefits based on the 13th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018. The said representation is still pending. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would

submit that they would settle the eligible amount to the petitioner. 4.

Heard the learned Counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.03.2025, and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In the result, the above Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
