O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2016, not to allot the funds to the toilet construction under CLEAN INDIA Scheme by the second respondent.

2. Heard Mr.T.V.G.Kartheeban, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Suriya Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent. Despite service of notice on the second respondent and his name being printed in the cause list as Mr.Elumalai, there is no appearance either in person or through counsel.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2016.

4. In the light of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and the submissions made by the learned counsels, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
