ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.259 of 2010 on the file of Inspector of Police, G.1 Madhuranthagam Police Station, Kancheepuram District and quash the same in so far as it relates to the petitioners concerned.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.259 of 2010, the first respondent police conducted an enquiry and during the course of enquiry, the de facto complainant / the second respondent has given a letter dated 14.3.2012 to the first respondent police stating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the dispute between the parties was amicably settled and hence, she requested the first respondent not to proceed against the complaint given by her. The said letter dated 14.3.2012 now produced by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is placed on record.

3. In view of the same, the proceedings pending in Crime No.259 of 2010 on the file of Inspector of Police, G.1 Madhuranthagam Police Station, Kancheepuram District, as against the petitioners are quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
