ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to issuance birth certificate by correcting the date of birth of the petitioner's son.

The petitioner submits that his son was born at her home on 27.05.1981. After few months of delivery of her son, she has applied for date of birth certificate of her son in which she had inadvertently furnished his date of birth as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

25.10.1981 but the correct date of birth is registered in all school records. In other words, there is a difference in the date of birth of her son in the birth certificate as well as school records. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 03.11.2020 to the respondents seeking for rectification of birth date but the representation has not been considered so far.

Heard both sides and perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
