ORDER

The petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant recognition with aid for English medium to the petitioner school from 01.06.2009 as per G.O.Ms.No.148 School Education dated 20.07.2018.

2. Both the learned counsel would rely on the recent judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of The Secretary to Government, Government of Tamil Nadu & Ors. V. Iruthaya Amali & Anr. in SLP (Civil)No.15702 of 2021 dated 16.02.2024.

3. A joint request is made by the parties that a time frame may be fixed by this Court for the disposal of the application, which is placed at Pg.No.23 of the writ petition typed set of papers. I accede to the request.

4. Let the petitioner be heard personally and the application be decided in accordance with law, all relevant Rules and Regulations and 2/4

the judgment of this Court in W.A.(MD).76 of 2019 dated 31.03.2021 and Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (Civil)No.15702 of 2021 dated 16.02.2024 in The Secretary to Government, Government of Tamil Nadu & Ors. V. Iruthaya Amali & Anr. to the extent to which it is applicable.

5. This exercise will be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
