Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Board to consider the petitioner request dated 30.04.2012 through the Endowment viz., AmeerunNisa Begum Sahiba's Endowments for issuance of a NOC for transfer of Lease Hold rights of the land situated at Old No.14, New No.37, Raza Hyder Street, Mount Road, Chennai - 600002 and the superstructure thereon, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent Board to consider the petitioner request dated 30.04.2012, through the Endowment viz., Ameerun-Nisa Begum Sahibas Endowments.

2. Heard both sides and perused the material documents available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of petitioner dated 20.8.2013 would be considered by the second respondent Board, if the petitioner is ready to pay the arrears of rent and the present rent fixed by the second respondent Board.

5. In the light of the above submissions, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties.

6. With this above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
