The Special Tahsildar (Social Security Scheme) Tahsildar Office Thiruvannamalai Thiruvannamalai District Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the first respodnent to give Old Age Pension to the petitioner under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), based on the application dated 27-08-2010 given by the petitioner to the second respondent without any further delay and pass orders.

ORDER

Seeking disbursement of old age pension, the petitioner is sought to be 70 years' old as on 2013 made a request to the respondents. In the said representation, the petitioner has submitted that he is without any help and does not have any house. As the said representation has not been considered by the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration of the pendency of the application before the first respondent and also the considering the fact that the petitioner had approached the first respondent quite a number of occasions, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit an application afresh within a period of two weeks and on receipt of such application, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders also taking note of the application dated 27-08https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2010 within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. It is made clear that the application may either be disposed of by the first respondent or any of his Officials.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
