Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the amounts lying to the credit of the account of Ponnamah in Account No.418737654 maintained with them to the petitioners. The grievance expressed by the petitioners appear to be that despite grant of Probate by the Competent Court at Singapore, the amounts lying in respect of account of the petitioners' sister, namely Ponnamah bearing A/c.No.418737654 maintained with the respondent Bank have not been returned and therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.

2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.B.Jeyesh B. Dolia, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Bank and would submit that the respondent Bank is prepared to accept the Probate granted by the State Courts of the Republic of Singapore in Case No.DCP 2007/2014 [PRG No.3778/2014] on 04.06.2014. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Bank to take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

into consideration the Probate granted by the State Courts of the Republic of Singapore in Case No.DCP 2007/2014 [PRG No.3778/2014] dated 04.06.2014 and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any undertaking/indemnity is required by the respondent Bank, the petitioners are at liberty to execute the same.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
