ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking relaxation of the condition imposed in paragraph No. 7(b) of the order passed in Crl.O.P. No. 8732 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026, which directed the petitioner to sign before the respondent police daily at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. until further orders.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

3. Considering the submissions made on either side and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P. No. 8732 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026. Accordingly, the condition directing 'the petitioner to sign before the respondent police daily at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. until further orders' is modified to the effect that 'the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent police on alternate days at 10:30 a.m. for a period of 30 days and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.' The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
