From the material placed before this Court by the learned Government Advocate, it is noticed that the respondents herein, though they submitted a proposal to the office of the Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai, the office of the Accountant General failed to take note of the service rendered by the petitioner from 02.08.1989 to 31.05.1994.

Prima facie, it appears that the action of the office of the Accountant General is contrary to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.6553 of 2018 dated 21.07.2022. Hence, this Court deems it appropriate to suo motu implead the Accountant General, as party/respondent to the contempt case. Accordingly, the Principal Accountant General, (Audit) Complex No.361, Anna Salai, Rostreor Garden, Teynampet, Chennai - 600 018 is suo motu impleaded as 4th respondent in the contempt petition.

Registry is directed to issue notice to the 4th respondent returnable by 23.07.2024.
