ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant an appointment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds for a suitable job upon the death of his father in harness on 16.04.1999 within the time frame.

2. The case of the writ petitioner is that the father of the petitioner died in harness on 16.04.1999. Originally, the mother of the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent on 13.12.1999 seeking employment on compassionate ground either to herself or anyone of her daughters. Subsequently, the mother of the petitioner gave representations on 08.10.2011 and 08.06.2021 to the respondents for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground and the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petitioner has been filed.

3. At the outset, this Court is of the view that when the father died in harness, as a matter of right, the petitioner cannot seek appointment on 2/4

compassionate ground on the ground that her mother and elder sister have withdrawn their willingness for appointment on compassionate ground. Hence, I do not find any merits in this Writ Petition.
