ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to register the settlement deed dated 01.09.2021, vide Temporary Registration No.TP/10433915/2021 by considering the certified copy of the parent documents with verification of their records.

2. The petitioner and her sisters were settled with the property comprised in S.No.220/6 ad-measuring an extent of 981 sq.ft. On 14.03.2007, the petitioner's mother executed a settlement deed in respect of land in S.No.220/6B to an extent of 981 sq.ft (1/3rd share i.e., 327 sq.ft each) in favour the petitioner, and another settlement deed was also executed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

S.No.220/3 ad-measuring to an extent of 23.5 cents and also the land comprised in S.No.220/4 to the basement land of the common Well (0.5 cents) and 1/8th share of common Well and the same were duly registered before the Sub-Registrar Office, Pochampalli, vide Document Nos.614 and 615 of 2007, dated 14.03.2007. The petitioner had two female children. Therefore, she intended to settle the said property in favour of her daughters and presented the settlement deed for registration on 01.09.2021. However, the petitioner failed to produce the parent documents of the said property for the reason that both the documents were misplaced and she produced only Xerox copy of the same. Therefore, the respondents returned the same for production of original parent documents for registration.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner is directed to produce the certified copy of the parent documents and re-present the settlement deed dated 01.09.2021 for registration before the respondents. On receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider and register the same forthwith, otherwise in order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
