O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.6 of 2023 on the file of first respondent.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation in the case has been completed and final report is now placed before the Public Prosecutor for opinion.

3. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to either file a final report or a closure report within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If ultimately, the final report is filed against the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
