Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to reframe MBBS seat matrix under the Government Quota in all the private self-financing colleges situated in Union Territory Puducherry and to conduct fresh counselling as per the revised seat matrix.

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to re-frame MBBS seat matrix under the Government Quota in all the private self-financing colleges situated in Union Territory Puducherry and to conduct fresh counselling as per the revised seat matrix.

2. In respect of the relief, as such sought for in the present Writ Petition, the medical admissions were completed in the year 2018 itself. The students have undergone the course and the duration of the course had also been completed.

3. On account of efflux of time, the relief as such sought for in the present Writ Petition lost its relevance and thus, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 12.01.2024 skr Index : Yes To
