This Criminal Original Petition has been to direct 2nd respondent herein viz., the Inspector of Police, Ambattur Police Station, Chennai to register the complaint in CSR No.587 of 2018 and file a final report in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Though the 2nd respondent received the complaint and given a CSR No.587 of 2018, he has not taken any action. They will have to enquire the complaint and either register the complaint or close the same upon completion of enquiry. Without doing so, they cannot keep the complaint pending forever. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to enquire the CSR and act in accordance with law.
