ORDER

Mrs.G.Dhana Madhri, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for first respondent. Heard both. In view of the limited nature of relief this Court proposes to grant, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with and the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. It may not be necessary for this Court to go into the factual aspects as pleaded in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, as the petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to serve the original copy of the assessment proceedings passed, if any, under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act, 1959 for the year 2006-07. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Since this Court is disposing of this writ petition even at the admission stage, this Court cannot issue such a positive direction.

4. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.6.2018 and pass orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the assessment proceedings have not been communicated to the petitioner, then a certified copy of the same shall be furnished within a period of one week thereafter. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMPs are closed.
