ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to set aside the fair and decretal order dated 17.12.2024 made in RLTA.No.51 of 2024 on the file of VI Additional City Civil Court at Chennai confirming the fair and decretal order dated 24.11.2023 made in RLTOP.No.646 of 2022 on the file of the XII Small Causes Court at Chennai.

2. When the matter was taken up, it is stated by the learned counsel for the Page 1 / 4

petitioner that the petitioner has undertaken to vacate the premises within a period of six months, viz., 31.12.2025. The petitioner was present before the Court and was identified by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Affidavit of undertaking has been filed by the petitioner/tenant stating that the he will vacate and hand over the vacant premises within a period of six months. Undertaking Affidavit of the petitioner dated 07.07.2025 is taken on record and shall form part of the order.

3. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of in terms of the undertaking affidavit. It is made clear that if the petitioner commits any violation in vacating the premises on or before 31.12.2025, the petitioner/tenant will be proceeded for contempt of Court. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall pay the rents regularly till he vacates from the premises. No costs.
