ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent pertaining to NK.No.38555/W1/E1/08 dated 10.06.2006 and to quash the same.
2. The petitioner has took up the teaching career as Tamil Pandit from 01.03.1974 and on 26.07.1979, he was appointed as PG Assistant in Tamil. Thereafter, on 31.08.1996, he was promoted as Head Master at Higher Secondary School, Tiruvannamalai.
3. In the year 2008, during March, +2 Examinations were commenced, in which, the petitioner was given the duty of a member of flying squad headed by the District Educational Officer, Thiruvannamalai District, to prevent mal-practices in the examination centres. As a member of the flying squad, the petitioner visited various schools from 03.03.2008 to 13.03.2008, where he found various bits and answers keys from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
various students, and the same was immediately informed to the respondents about the mal-practices committed by the students. Thereafter, the petitioner was relieved from his incharge post on 14.03.2008 and joined back to his parent school as Head Master on 17.03.2008. Since the petitioner strictly conducted the examinations and prevented the mal-practices in the said school, he sent a representation to the 3rd respondent on 09.04.2008 stating that due to the act of himself, his services should be protected. While that being so, to the petitioner's shock and surprise, the 1st respondent, by its proceedings in NK.No.38555/W1/E1/08 dated 10.06.2006, had transferred the petitioner to Tuticorin District, at Government Higher Secondary School. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the said proceedings dated 10.06.2006.
4. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the challenges made in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
5. Recording the above submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
