This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings as against the petitioners in Crime No.172 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court on 09.02.2023 and the same is yet to be taken on file. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that there is a counter case in Crime No.171 of 2023 and final report has been filed in that case also and that has been taken on file in STC No.375 of 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Krishnagiri. 2/4

3.In view of the above, this criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Krishnagiri to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.172 of 2023, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
